This strap is designed to clip on to the front of your backpack shoulders strap attachment slot. The brass fittings are made to last as to ensure your strap does not weaken over the years. The leather is 5-6 oz vegetable tanned leather, stained and finished. Edges are burnished for quality and to ensure the sides are sealed. The rivets are full brass and are doubled on each end. The top of the strap is a brass swivel clip, and the bottom is also a clip that attaches to a small sturdy key ring that attaches to your cameras strap slot. The Camera is easily removed from the strap without having anything in your way, but is also firmly attached for out and about shooting.
